Dr. Rajagopal offers field-based training to researchers in the social science and business management areas through workshops on research instrument development, focus group organization, qualitative contents collection, conducting ethnographic research. Several trainings to the corporate managers on text mining, behavioral judgements, and acquiring collective intelligence in business through crowd sourcing have been offered by Dr. Rajagopal during the management development programs in India and Mexico. The corporate managers who benefitted from the training were from the companies of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), pharmaceuticals, agribusiness, and consumer services. Such applied skill development programs have been called Managerial Clinics, which focused on analyzing complex business scenarios and offered problem-based learning. The social development teams engaged in the India on farm- and non-farm enterprises and women entrepreneurs have been trained with collective skills on resource mapping, infrastructure development, and enterprise planning. The social development teams have been provided with the training on Participatory Rural Appraisal, Participatory Appraisal and Learning Method, and developing business plans using Business Canvas by mapping the inputs provided by the rural entrepreneurs in India. He has offered training to the employees of rural development agencies, non-governmental organizations, and corporate teams engaged in delivering the corporate social responsibility agenda focused on rural, social, and sustainable development.
